Riverfest Run/ Walk. Do you like running? How about walking? If you answered yes to either question you should join us in this year’s Riverside Riverfest 5K/ 10K/ Run/ Walk at E.H. Young Park. With numerous distances and age brackets there will be an event for everyone. The gun will sound starting at 7:20 am on Saturday September 15, 2007 for runners and will continue to go off for various skill levels until culminating in the Kids Run at 9:00 am. Entry fees range from $10 to $20 ($25 on race day) with all proceeds benefiting Synergy. Don’t forget that everyone who enters will receive a Riverfest t-shirt to add to your collection. Macy’s “Shop for a Cause” Event Tickets are $5.00 each. Synergy keeps all the money for tickets we sell. With the purchase of the $5.00 ticket you will be admitted to a special sale that is open exclusively to ticket holders. The tickets get you in to the event that will include specially reduced sales merchandise, with your pass your pass you will receive an additional 20% off the special sales prices (10% of furniture, mattresses & rugs) and you will be entered in the $500 shopping spree prize drawing.
